As previously mentioned, AWA is built upon WordPress, the leading website hosting content management system. We’ve customized this further with the following features and benefits:

Yes. But if you are an AuthorImprints client, AuthorImprints will prepare all the files, links, and text necessary for your website at no charge. We work directly with 9 Planets so you don’t have to manage the process or learn about website design.

Once your website is created, there are two ongoing expenses for all websites.

  1. An annual cost of around $20 for the domain name. If you don’t already have a name reserved, it can be purchased as part of your AWA account, or purchased from another registrar. Please discuss this with AuthorImprints.
  2. A monthly or annual hosting expense. AWA hosting begins on sign up and the first month is free. After that, it is $25/month or $275, for the year when paid in advance (one month free).

Again, these two expenses are necessary for any website, not just AWA.

  1. Your website is hosted on US-based servers.
  2. Your website is monitored 24/7 to guard against hacking and security breaches.
  3. Website support is provided by US-based, native English-speaking personnel.
  4. After your free AuthorImprints support ends, both AuthorImprints and 9 Planets can make changes to your website for a small fee. Or use our videos to learn how to make changes yourself. Either way, your website will remain available to the public so long as you continue to renew your domain name and pay the monthly (or annual) hosting fee.

You can cancel anytime. If you’d like to move your website, you can log in and export your content, which allows you to import it to a new website.

If you’d like to move your website off our platform to a standalone site using the same architecture, we can package it up and install it on a new host for $499.
